How to view history of past designs Ngene created for my survey

I am trying to figure out how to view past designs Ngene created for my survey. I basically would like Ngene to run the same d-efficient design a few times so I can choose to use the version of the design that best meets my criteria. For example, making sure each of the Blocks are also d-efficient.

When I “Clear Ngene Script” to have NGene make a new design, I get the following message “The history of generated designs will be kept, but after making changes to the experiment you will not be able to restore checkpoints or import designs from before the reset.” Is there anyway I can access the history of the generated designs so I can go back and use one I created earlier? Or am I unable to use any previous design that Ngene created once I ask it to make a new one?

The history is only valid for the design you are building. A ‘reset’ resets everything.

It’s not feasible nor meaningful to keep different Ngene designs across different resets where the entire structure of attributes and levels may changes.

Good practice is to download and document for your purposes.
