The process is usually identifcal for all providers.

In summary - what you are doing is a mediated transaction between two providers. the panel and the survey software.

The panel initiates the transaction by sending out invitations to their known panellists - each with unique id’s - say id = 12345.

They then offload this panellist to the survey software using an ‘ **invitation link** ’ you provide - all they are then interested in is whether mr. 12345 completedthe survey, was screened out or gave up. So you (using the software need record the panel id in, and then return it to the panel when the survey finishes with the relevant status) - this is called a **passback**.

Here’s what you do in SurveyEngine.

1. Go to invitations

2. Copy the panel link and send it to your PM at your panel - indicating that they must provide the ‘extid’ part from their system. sometimes they require you to use a specific parameter like ‘id’ or ‘ssid’ - you can change this in the ibvitation.

3. Ask the panel for their passbacks. At a minimum they will have complete and screenout passback links. They may also have overquota and quality screener passbacks. You then paste each of these in the correct place in the invitation dialog. If they give you some non-standard passbacks like quality screening use the screener passback.

4. Inform the panel PM and get them to manually test this. you may need to provide the screening criteria. On the ok from them you are ready to begin.

BE WARNED - some dubious panel providers have been known to put this information in their invitations to boost their feasibility, See this article
