Dear SurveyEngine Support Team,

I am developing a survey in three languages (e.g., Dutch, French and English) and have created a separate experiment design in SurveyEngine for each language.

I would like to ensure that all three language versions use **exactly the same experimental design** , meaning that the same choice tasks and attribute-level combinations appear in the same order across all three versions. Only the wording and translations should differ.

I have used the built-in Ngene™ function in SurveyEngine to generate the design matrix for each experiment. However, generating the design separately for each language produces three different design matrices.

Could you please explain how I can generate the design matrix once and apply or import that exact same matrix into the other two language-specific experiments?

I would greatly appreciate a clear, step-by-step explanation, including which menus or functions to use, as I am not yet very familiar with the software and have not been able to find detailed instructions for this specific situation.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best wishes,

Aternative:

I have generated my experimental design directly in SurveyEngine using the built-in Ngene Lite generator on the Design screen. I would now like to reuse this exact design matrix in two other language-specific experiments. However, I cannot find an option to export or download the generated matrix as an Excel or CSV file. Could you please explain how I can extract the existing design matrix and import it into my other two experiments? Alternatively, is there a way to duplicate or reuse the generated design directly without exporting it?
