# Fixing a level across alternatives

Is it possible to fulfill the condition that a variable has the same level across alternatives in a single design row with the automatically generated designs in Surveyengine?

This is an advanced constraint and is possible with the Ngene design editor.  
However - due to co-linearity no design may be possible. You may need to interact the attribute.

This is a fairly advanced implementation and guidance of an expert shouls be sought.
